Situated in Downtown Corvallis, Oregon, this 20,000sf museum honors the rich and varied collection of the Benton County Historical Society.
Respecting the scale and context of the street, the museum breaks down into four distinct structural bays. Each bay houses gallery space at the second level, with one devoted to an exterior courtyard for monthly events and offered as public space to the street during the day.
Clad in finely crafted ceramic tiles. the facade echoes the tradition of tile and masonry facades throughout Corvallis’s downtown core.
